Automobile Parts Manufacturing Technology using semifold forming process

Commonly used light material is not suitable for processing so that detailed reshaping is difficult and the manufacturing cost is high. To accomplish reshaping of such materials into clear-net-shape, semifold forming can be used. However, technology to continuously produce anti-solidification Al compound iron for semifold forming supply material is not established anywhere, and thus research in this area is required. Semifold forming processing is the process to reheat material that consists of structured solid particles into the state that consists of both solid and liquid particles and then reshape it close to the final product. The process will save energy, shorten the process itself, and application expansion, etc.
